Intact Solutions applies state of the art research to simulation for engineering, design, and manufacturing applications. We create analysis and simulation solutions that can operate on a wide variety geometry and material types, providing unique solutions for generative design and additive manufacturing.

What are we looking for?
We’re looking for software engineers interested in geometry, materials, and simulation. If you have experience with mechanical engineering, computational physics and mathematics, FEA, HPC, computational geometry, etc, you might be a good fit. We are always looking for candidates who are excited about pushing the state of art in modeling and simulation.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with the team on research ideas and prototypes
- Develop new concepts and computational formulations
- Develop production-ready, testable, and performant implementations
- Prepare technical reports and/or publish research papers

What you’re bringing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Legally authorized to work in the US
- Ability and willingness to learn about technical subjects
- (Preferred) Experience working on a geographically dispersed team
What your background is
- PhD in a relevant scientific discipline
- Ability to work beyond the confines of a specific tech stack
- The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- FEA simulation software (NASTRAN/ABAQUS/Ansys) and/or CFD software (Fluent/Star-CCM/OpenFOAM)
- Development of CAE simulation tools for multi-physics (thermal/structural/fluid etc.) using FEM/FVM.
- Structural/topology optimization
- Development in performance-ready language like C++
