What are we looking for?
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic Structural Analysis Application Engineer Intern/Co-Op student with passion for problem solving and customer service. The position offers the opportunity for customer interaction, a flexible work schedule, and remote work via virtual office.
What you’ll do
- Provide consultative support to customers and staff in a variety of technical activities in areas of simulation, structural analysis, and modeling
- Plan, develop, and implement tutorials, videos and webinars
- Provide technical support to product development and research personnel
- Support and promote social networking among the customers and users
What you’re bringing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to self-direct and prioritize work in a technically challenging environment
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- Ability and willingness to learn about technical subjects
- (Preferred) Experience working on a geographically dispersed team
What your background is
- University junior or senior working toward an engineering degree
- The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- CAD tools such as Solidworks, Pro/E, NX or similar
- Simulation tools such as Ansys, NASTRAN, or similar
- Hands-on experience in engineering or design
