Please follow these instructions each time you are activating or migrating a license key. Failure to do so may result in Intact.Simulation for Grasshopper not working properly.

* If Rhino is running, close it to ensure license changes are applied correctly.

⚠️ If you are installing for the first time, the license manager should open during the installation process. Once launched, go to step 2.

If not, you can start our license manager from the Windows Start Menu by typing “Intact License Manager”. You can also find the License Manager application by navigating to the Intact.Simulation folder installation location, which by default should be in PC>Drive(C:)>Program Files>Intact.Simulation. Once there, open the license-manager.exe and enter the key you should have received via email.

This will then open a page showing the information for your device and license in addition to an activate button, click this button to activate the license.

Upon successful activation, you should see this screen.

If you are instead moving a license to another device there are two options.

1. You can first deactivate the license on the old device and then activate the license on the desired device.
2. Alternatively, you can disable the license on your old device directly from the license manager as shown below.

Open the license manager and enter your key as done in the activating license section. Following this you will first see that your license is full and the validation says “fingerprint_scope_mismatch”. Click activate on this screen as normal.

Now, you will get an error message and importantly, the option to deactivate the license on the old device. Click deactivate and follow the steps in activating license by clicking activate on the current device again which should result in a “valid” validation code on the desired device.
