~~CLOSETOC~~ {{TOC:wide}} \\ ======Vibration Scenario====== {{ :wiki:id:simulation_setup_3.png?direct&300|}} The vibration scenario subjects the model to vibrations and determines the natural frequencies that the object tends to oscillate at in the absence of an external force. This capability is useful for parts of a moving assembly, such as an engine, or objects subjected to varying load conditions, like a bridge in the wind. To set up a vibration scenario, follow these steps. - From the Scenario Setup page, select the **Vibration** button - Under the Physics tab, click the **Apply Physical Conditions** drop down menu and click on the desired faces on the model to apply a **restraint**. - Under the Materials tab, select the materials for your assembly. - Click the **Simulate** button to start your simulation! {{ :wiki:id:vibration.png?direct&400 |}} To learn how to set up stress scenarios, visit **[[http://www.intact-solutions.com/learning/doku.php?id=wiki:id:advanced_scenario| stress scenarios]]**.
