Help engineers go further with advanced simulation. As an Application Engineer at Intact, you’ll bridge technology and practice by solving complex technical challenges, guiding product development, and growing into a domain expert in advanced simulation methods.
What You’ll Do
Work directly with customers to tackle challenging simulation problems using our software
Develop tutorials, application examples, and best practices that showcase our capabilities
Collaborate with the research and product teams to prioritize features based on real-world use cases
Deliver technical presentations and webinars on advanced simulation techniques
Debug complex customer models and provide clear, actionable support
Build strong relationships with key users and become a trusted simulation advisor
What We’re Looking For
2–4 years of hands-on experience with CAD and simulation tools (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, Ansys, Abaqus, NASTRAN)
Masters or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, civil, or a related engineering field
Background in structural analysis, CFD, or similar simulation disciplines
Excellent communication skills—you can explain complex technical ideas clearly and confidently
Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving instincts
Legally authorized to work in the US
Bonus Points For
Experience with additive manufacturing, generative design, or topology optimization workflows
Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (Python, Grasshopper, MATLAB, etc.)
